Cool morning Ozarks foothills motorcycle ride for breakfast then to some backroads
Nice where did access the creek?
Tomahawk Slab Road or CR82 I think it is. Beware of private property...can be deadly.
Umm yes, that was a pretty nice ride !! Nice water wheel place ! Next time a little warning would be nice before flashing yourself in front of the camera!! My cat ran off and all the chickens scattered!! Nice hearing the o’l bobwhite !! Enjoyed the video 👍🏼
Missouri sucks...even Pennsylvania is better. I had on shorts Chops. Your cat had never before seen such manliness. Chickens are just dumb. Thanks ChickenChops.
Well, I'm not sure what this is.
I know.
Glorious ride, my father. Nice greenery.
It was nice but Missouri does nothing for me.
Nice ride NT. I've eaten at the White Sands Cafe myself after we floated the Buffalo from Rush to Shipps Ferry. You should've done some fly fishing in Cotter with all the uppity types. I thought they were going to connect the Ozark Trail to the OHT somewhere, maybe at Matney Knob, don't know. Yeah, MO. isn't AR. that's for sure.
Thanks SB (SpongeBob). White Sands is nice, but raysiss. Dark sands should be included. Let's call it..."Light and Dark Sands Cafe". There were a couple of fly fisherman sitting behind me. I don't consider hiring a guide to boat you to hot spots to be real fishing. They were from Ohio. Another dude was from Oklahoma...guided as well...pusseez. That's amusement park fishing. I care not about either trails or at which knobs they connect at. This was my last visit to Missouri...it just don't feel right to me. The wilderness areas up there aren't real wilderness.
@@NoTrail I had a friend of mine years ago who did guided trips down the Little Red. He and I fished together but he wasn't "guiding" me, just two friends fishin'. I have no desire to go roaming around MO either.
@@travelingwithspinoza Rriigghhttt.
@@NoTrail lol
I love those Ozark streams. I canoed Little Lee Creek just across the state line in OK in the mid 80s and had the best time of my life. Thanks for this enjoyable video!
Yes you do Billy. I've always known that about you. Lee Creek in Oklahoma does not count. You are welcome, even though I found the video to be quite boring myself. Thanks.
After painfully watching this entire video of a grown ass man riding an old fashioned pedal powered rickety bike I have come to the conclusion that the best part of this video was the dump you took on the asphalt and then showed a long close-up of it. Real men ride e-bikes with big cushy seats and electronic gadgets attached to the handlebar for stats that can be posted in later videos. Real men also wear performance t-shirts made of s*it from NASA to wick away rare sweat from our nipples, not old worn out OD green cotton t-shirts. Step it up man!
Man power...look into it. The dump was obviously a cougar's. I would never wear a garment made by Under Armour. Green the only color my eyes recognize.
Nice morning hike Thanks for taking us along!
Well sure WanderYander.
Just when the old hot rod was just getting broke in , you trade it 😢 BUT !! That new hot rod sure is nice 👍🏼 great color! You never show us your breakfast or even offer us a bite !! Beautiful time out and about Patrick !! 👍🏼
Too many items to start failing at 165,000 miles. This one should last me till I'm dead. You ain't having none of my breakfast, boy. Thankee ChopMaster.
Cool new ride you got there mister. Lots of amenities, looks like a space ship. Now Suzie says she wants one too. Thanks for that. I've only ever driven by Round Top but never hiked it. Pretty neat. Did you get a Leopard burger to go?
No...no leopard burger for me. Thanks dude, it is my personal transport unit that can deliver me to anywhere the action is. You know I crave action. My wife is picking hers up today...exactly the same except for the color. Tell Susie that ours are official No Trail editions made just for us. She would have to request the Peg Legerson edition, which would suit her best. You would need the Spin Master edition, which comes out next month. Round Top was kinda cool.
@@NoTrail Okay, I'll tell her...lol
New car looks nice Let's hope you have some deer insurance
Thanks creeggssfgiiika. It has a deer avoidance system.
I just got done testing my front tire I changed over to some new rubber I will be changing the rear shortly but I kind of made a boo-boo and the back tire that came in is meant for extreme DH in wet muddy conditions so I had to order a secondary one that wasn't so aggressive waiting for that to show up
Get that tread style right boy.
Awesome some more bluff action
Bluffs are king.
Ummm...
Umm whut?
You call that a ride?
Yes very nice enjoyed this ride See you soon have a great weekend 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thankee HungryBassa. You have the same style weekend as well.
Can you drop a pin on the bluff at 5.58?
Sorry dude, I just saw this. That's looking upstream to Hawk Hollow and I would say the vantage point would be right about here: 35.84997908432233, -93.40898667593355
Donkey style.
Not sure what that is.
Nice 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂👍👍👍👍
Thank uh yuh NiCadMSN.
Rather the deer hit your car than you flying down a hill on your bike. Great solo video!
Indeed. Thanks Uncle Jimmy. I never use the term solo unless I'm poking fun at those that do.
Bet those hills were fun getting up.
Only fun getting down. I used to enjoy the challenge of a hill...when I was in decent shape.
Go, man, go!
Yeah right.
Pretty nice bike ride ! Love that helmet, the things they can make nowadays !!riding through them mud puddles, now you’ll have to wash it ! You about got smeared by that log truck !!
Thanks for watching and subscribing and smashing that like button and sharing and sending me money via Paytreeon. It was only 14 miles. I designed and created that helmet using space age materials(materials from the late 50's). I split the puddles but still got mud, which I deespise. The log truck was well away from me...it exploded down the road. Thanks for replying and sharing your thoughts on this video...which sukked, donkey style. Enjoy yer hump day Chops by humping something.

By the way look out for ( First Church of masochist ) He is a through hiker doing right to left of the United States the American great trail not sure exactly when he will be there just keep an eye for him and his wife normally he's out there alone but he has 2 months with his wife coming in starting next week so please be a lookout for them
I don't understand through hiking at all. It's like being a hobo. I guess some some like the life of being a bum. If I see him I'll do my best not to run over him.
Awesome that you named your place camp pine stump
Lotsa pine stumps in Arkansas...logging.
I was wrong a person did pass you somewhere on that line I just happens to be a logger
Dam loggers.
Hope you never get a flat while out that way I don't think you seen one person in months on your road or roads around you

You got some decent tires my good man
They're a combo tread that does ok for both road and off.

Buzzard.
@@NoTrail 😂 Yes my eyes are still crappy but that's okay
@@cgriggsiv Was hard to see but buzzards have a certain look that stands out.
A mountain bike ride is never boring So much to see Because you're a little slower so you can see more And that's like that wind in your hair Then you have those nice lovely awesome downhill speedruns Nothing like getting close to 50 miles an hour on a mountain bike then you have to go back the other direction on the way home now you're going to go about maybe 3 mph if you're lucky I look at those pretty flowers you get to see As I said there's nothing boring about a mountain bike ride
Lotsa hills up here.
It's too hot and brushy to be trompin' through the woods this time of year. Just can't help yourself I guess. I'm kind of the same way to be honest. Leaf water is yummy but likely has bear dookie in it. Nice sky views of the canopy.
Thanks SpinBrushy. I will continue to hike no matter the time of year. Summer has its own feel and needs to be felt. I enjoy touching it. The summertime forest from the sky is boring and lacks definition, but hey.
Nice whippoorwill action !! No view!! Unsubscribed !! Luckily for you the autonomous glider saved the day!! Alright, re subbed !! The pileated woodpecker was telling you what to do, And where to go !! Probably nice and cool around them rocks ! 26:51 could barley see that snail 🐌 running !! 27:19 ahhh charlotte’s Web !! Good video 👍🏼
Always disappointing when there is a lack of bluff action...thank you for understanding. Dilapidateds always guide me. Snail camo quite impressive, and the speed...wow! Not Charlotte's...Jimmy's web. I've given up on women. Thanks DudeChops. Have weekend of great joy.;
That pool of water was an awesome find And here's a question for you Have you ever come across jack-o'-lanterns or any other mushroom that glows in the dark such as Foxfire and other various sources of glow in the dark mushrooms
No...no glow...just reflective spider eyes and other creatures with reflective eyes. Lightning bugs. We have no foxfire in this part of the country.
That is an awesome hike thank you for bringing us along always glad to see what you see Still love the Elvis bits that you put in
Thankee...who's Elvis?
Why?
Why what?
Pretty bad when the best part of the video was the coffee brewing at the begining. Anita Bigwun was a nice lady. I think you have taken a dump at every public bathroom in Arkansas. The Hippie Wagon killed a deer? Typical Vegetarian violence against animals. I liked the clear water and that was all.
You are correct. You can't beat coffee brewing. Anita was a hoar. She needed too many big ones. I have utilized most of the restrooms around the state. The deer limped away and healed back stronger and more powerful. Vegans and vegetarians...good god man...they're the worst. You liked the clear water cuz you ain't got none at the boggy estuary you live in. Did you ever see "The Legend of Boggy Creek" bigfoot movie? I assume you did. You have a good week boy. Power up that Hobie and rip some surf.
Great to see the old hot rod all refreshed !! Wow, you filled that coffee mug to the brim! Nice seeing the family pics of days gone by !! Make ya wonder where the time goes !! Good Birds Eye footage! Good video .
Refreshing, yes. I always preheat any coffee receptacle with hot water and I forgot to empty that out first...duh. Time...yes...I'll be dead in no time. What can you do but live until you're gone. The video was average, but thanks. Hav a good week working Chops...I'll be not working.
Nice coffee overflow action. Praise the lord you have so many options out there for Sundee service. Excellent fog. New bumper looks spiffy. Miss Blanchard Springs. Campground looks good.
Thanks son. Yes, facilities are in abundance. Car looks new...they washed it. The old campground is useless.
I think you need a new coffee maker dude. When I lived in Little Rock I used to drive up to the Little Red and fly fish below the dam at JFK park. Camped there occasionally too. I remember when that portion of the river wasn't classified as Catch-N-Release. Glad they made that change. It protects a lot of big trout in that stretch of water. I miss it. My Suzie broke her foot Friday walking down the stairs at work so we won't be out and about much any time soon. But I'm going to try and get out some here and there. I'm having to wait on her hand and foot (pun intended) at the moment since she can't get around very well on her own.
I forgot to empty out the cup warming water first. I tried fly fishing there once around 1990...took a fly tying class also. Hated it. It's too much of an upper class way to fish...went back to the spinning reel. If you miss it is there not trout in the Beaver Lake tailwater? Did you catch any lunker style trout below Greers Ferry? Susie hikes all over the place then does some stairwell surfing, huh? I'll bet she did it on purpose to get out of you dragging her out into crap. Leave her behind...you don't need no Susie to get out. Good luck with all that servant boy. Hope she heals up real soon.
@@NoTrail I tie my own flies too. Caught some good size trout below Greers Ferry. Yes, Beaver tailwaters is a good place to fly fish too. Hooked but didn't land the largest trout I never have there, 5-8 lbs range. In fact, I might be fly fishing from my yak below Beaver in a couple of weeks. Need to tie up some more beadhead sow bugs and show my co-workers how to catch fish...lol. You are absolutely correct about the "uppity" attitude of a lot of those fly fisher guys. Suzie may need surgery at some point, will find out more on Tuesday.
@@travelingwithspinoza Cool. Yikes...she must've gone down hard. "And she slips".
That was an awesome drive thank you for showing us around always glad to see your adventures And I actually uploaded one of my own an app called you cut finally started working on my new cell phone and let me tell you I just went through some most hellacious timber trash I have ever had to go through just so I can get to Cook falls

@@NoTrail Dude you're very funny don't change but a love of God don't change
They can keep the appalachians.
Who's they UserKu 5000?
Real men blow up their air mattresses with their lungs, not electronics. So you went back to a place you’ve been before? WTF? We’ve already seen this place! I was getting bored. Glad you finally launched the Sky Anus 7000 drone so we could see even more tops of trees. I napped through most of this video in my manly recliner and set a timer to wake me right before video finished. All I think I missed was close-ups of leaves. I hate I missed that. The fire scene without you in the shot was pretty cool. However you were mostly in the shot. I was hoping for a Squatch sighting or some wood knocks. That will eventually happen to you. The dog bark was a definite Squatch.
You blow and you're not a real man. You were right to sleep through it...I did as well. What's a wood knock? Will I eventually see an imaginary creature?...I think not. Here's a movie for ya: ua-cam.com/video/HTeBlbdLyiU/v-deo.htmlsi=SGufWl9Nu9CLDKX6
Excellent lush greenery.
I can take no credit for the lushness.
39:26 that sound is the roar of the Cicadas in the distance I believe !!
Yeah, that's what I understand. What I don't understand is why they're not near me. Typically, cicadas are everywhere. There are none at my house...weird.
@@NoTrail yeah that is weird !!
@@IndianHemlock Yah.
Beautiful creek there !! You have a lot of nice holes there !! Glad you have saved footage, cause your memory is lousy !! 10:47 that's a nice pool!! You should have took a dip !! Staying off the bluffs on this trip!! 20:58 nice camera, is that one a Pentax? An armadillo, interesting. Nice rattler !! You should have hit us in for a closer shot ! Ahhh I see the o’l hot rod must be in the shop ! I’m surprised she lets you take her car !! Enjoyed the video 👍🏻
Thank uh ya Chops. If you've been as many places as I have, they all start to run together. Not hot enough for swimming. Camera is a Panasonic Lumix S5. Armadillos are boring. I actually considered clamping the Gopro to a long stick and moving in close, but just wanted to move on. The Nipponese racer is getting some front end work done thanks to stoobid deer.
You're a brave man walking that creek this time of year. Suzie would leave me if I took her there before November. That waterfall you came to where you were looking for an exit is called Leaning Log Falls I think. If so, if you go to the left side there's a route up and then over the top of the falls. That other side has that bluff line over hang. Why didn't you go to Adkin's Canyon Falls? You were very close. That was a nasty snake you came across. That's my biggest fear this time of year.
No bravery required. Leaning Log Falls is now Bubsuckler Falls. Seen those falls...no big whoop. I see snakes very infrequently. This one caught the corner of my eye. You know how we have the snake shape built into our unconscious? If I see any stick or root that's snake shaped, it kicks in. There's nothing out there to fear, my son. Go in peace. photos.app.goo.gl/s9S78XLqQKNYXDTW9
You are as bad as I am If there is water not too deep I'm going in and walking around see what's around
